The Kings is a classic road bike, based on the Kings triple butted, Reynolds 853 steel frameset.
The bike uses new 'retro' components to offer a classic look in a modern machine.

The Reynolds 853 double butted frame has variable sized sports geometry using a brazed and lugged construction method and features Triple butted Cr-mo forks. There’s ample clearance for up to 700x28C tyres. A 1" threaded headset and a 68mm BSA threaded bottom bracket keep those fittings classically simple. Beautiful high gloss paint finish, half chrome forks and rear stays with panelled graphics and gold lug lining complete the frameset.

Components wise; the polished Sunrace RDRS rear mech and a Sora front are mated to Dia-Compe down tube, power ratchet, friction shifters to offer a classic shifting 2x9 experience. While the forged and CNC machined Heritage double crankset give’s a respectful nod to some classic Italian styling.

Brakes are solid performing Dia-Compe BRS101 dual pivot brakes with classic ‘Open’ cables and gum-rubber hooded levers.

Wheels are Halo’s classic Retro, featuring sealed bearings and a medium high spoke flange hubs on double-wall eyeleted rims. The wheels are high polished silver finish with stainless spokes for that classic gleaming retro style.

The finishing kit is also in keeping with the overall retro styling. A forged and polished aluminium Genetic Hyoid quill type stem is mated with Genetic’s Heritage bars and wrapped in comfortable Faux leather perforated padded tape. A beautifully crafted, narrow Brookes B17 leather saddle sits on top of the polished and laser etched aluminium Genetic Heritage seat post to add an that extra finishing touch.
