Halo Road Disc 6Drive 135 Adaptor Kit 2.5mm Asymmetrical
130-135mm Rear Disc Adaptor kit - 2.5mm Symmetrical
Adapter kits to change Halo 6D Road Rear Disc hubs from 130mm OLD to 135mm OLD.
Option A. Use to fit a 135mm Disc frame with standard 130mm spaced cranks.
(Fits most crankset spacings).
* Select the required Freehub option.
* Select your choice of suitable disc only or universal rim.
* Select the +2.5mm symmetrical adaptor kit. (LH 2.5mm and RH 2.5mm cones).
* Mount the adapter with XL bolts (supplied).
* Mount an IS disc rotor.
Option B. Use to fit a 135mm Disc frame with 135mm specific spaced cranks.
(Use with SRAM road 135mm cranksets with 2.5mm off-set).
* Select the required Freehub option.
* Select your choice of suitable disc only or universal rim.
* Select the +5mm asymmetrical adaptor kit. (LH 1 x 5mm cone, RH use standard cone)*.
* Mount the adapter with XL bolts (supplied).
* Mount an IS disc rotor.
Note:: this option requires the wheel to be re-dished 2.5mm towards the none drive side to ensure more equalised spoke tension
Note:
In some circumstances, if using an MTB specific 10spd cassette in conjunction with a 135mm frame and a 130mm crank set-up (using the 2.5mm symmetric adaptor set) it is possible that you may encounter running difficulties in large sprocket to large chainwheel. This is due to a difference in cassette offset between Shimano MTB and Road 10spd sprockets. Fitting a Road-specific cassette will often solve the issue, or alternatively, switch to the asymmetric +5mm adaptor set and re-dish the wheel.
