Using a kickback mechanism, the rider can shift between two gears by quickly backpedaling — ideal for vintage cruisers, stripped-down commuters, and urban utility bikes. With an overall gear range of 138%, the S2 hub provides both direct drive and an overdrive gear, offering excellent flexibility without complication.
